April Blog Post

In my previous blog post, I said that our group never reached our goal of 500 trees planted in Brazil, but its the thought that matters. So now, our group is trying to work on our 20 time presentation, and we are trying to round up this project.we have counted up all the trees we planted and got a total of 381 and possibly even more if we try to work till the end of the year. currently,we were 119 trees short from our goal, but we done a good job in pushing towards this goal.

All our progress

We have been working on an powerpoint for the past few weeks. I have done to powerpoint slides. The first slide is the intruduction to the 3rd world countries. I used my experience from going to one of those countries this December and January. I wrote about how the rich have most of the money and the poor try to find a way to make a living. For example the wealthy think about what car they will drive the next day and the poor try to find what they could feed themselves and there children. I also did the title slide. I tried to find the very best mix of color to our powerpoint.

March Blog Post

As the end of the school year comes, our 20 time group hasn't reached our goal of 500 trees planted in Brazil yet but we have come close with 381 trees planted using the Tree Story app. We have spend hours on this app just to help refill Brazil's rain forest with trees to save animals and their habitats.  The reason we picked to plant trees in Brazil as our project was to help fight deforestation of rain forest. So even though our goal wasn't reached, we still helped out.

March Post!!!!!

We haven't got enough time to post our blogs because we have been doing a powerpoint for our end of the year presentation. We have done around 4 slides of the powerpoint each of one of us. Our goal is to add around 8 more slides. My personal goal is to do atleast 3 imformative slides.  We made a slide for the title and 3 imformative slides.  We are hoping to do atleast half a slide each week for everyone of us. Jalen is the writing about the app we used to plant trees called "Tree story". Andy is doing writing a well imformad slide about deforestation in Brazil. Micheal is making a slide about our groups contribution. That is what we were doing lately and our goals.

Reason for Late Posts

We haven't been posting as much as we used to because we have been working on other stuff for "Helping Brazil" we have been working on a PowerPoint for it and doing more research. Also we have been doing other school work taking time away from this subject or time for it. I haven't tried to post anything from home before because I never really thought about it or tried to do it.

Feb. Blog Post

When i was in India i donated 30 thousand Repuees to a foundation that donated helped the homeless people in Brazil. We have all planted 381 trees in the Amazon Rainforest. I have planted 150 of those trees. Everyone in our group has planted more than 10 trees. I have done the most because on the way to India and on the way back i planted about 40 trees. Over winter break i planted around 50 trees because everyday before i slept i planted trees. My goal for the future is to plant 500 trees before the end of the school year.My personal goal for me is to donate 200 trees. I learned about air pollution in places like India. I learned that people die from air pollution every day and we need to help by planting trees, so we can save peoples life,and more because nothing is more important than peoples life.That is what we did on the month of Feb.

Feb. Blog Post

Our group began this project with a goal of helping to plant 500 trees in Brazil by the end of this school year. So far, our group has planted a total of 381 trees in areas of Brazil using an app called Tree Story. Because of Brazil's mass amounts of legal and illegal deforestation, we need to fight this by helping to plant more trees or helping companies, like the ones supporting the Tree story app, to help plant trees. If enough people could help out, then deforestation of rain forest in Brazil could halt to a minimum and animal species could survive in these habitats.

Helping Brazil

We are getting closer everyday to our goal of trees planted. We plant a new tree everyday. Our group is trying as hard as we can planting the most trees possible. The app Tree Story is getting us closer everyday we have a high goal of 500 trees planted in Brazil.

Our group is making a goal to plant the most trees and just have a hope to stop deforestation.  Our goal is 500 trees planted. We are doing the 1 Billion tree Brazil project. There is a app called tree story and you have 4 different programs to do.

Back from india :(

I just returned from india last week. I learned alot of stuff about the develpment  about the 3rd world countries so it will help us in the long run for brazil. I learned that the countries such as brazil and india have a few people that are wealthy and most of the population is living below the poverty line. In india the poor people work day to day just to afford food kids even pitch in to help there family they sell pens,toys,ballons etc to make the money to just afford the food that we take adventage of. the people don't even have the clear air. Thats why my group are doing a deed above deeds to grant clean air something that every human should be able to live with. We are planting trees in the rain forest because the amazon rainforest provides 20 percent of the worlds oxygen. It will help all the countries that suffer from air pollution

Deforestation In Brazil

65% of amazon rain forest are located in Brazil, and every year trees are being cut down twice as fast as they are being planted. Brazil's rain forest are very important to us. They provide 20% of the world's oxygen and more than half of the world's estimated 10 million species of plants, animals, and insects live in the tropical rain forests. That's why our 20 time group is trying to help plant trees in the Brazilian rain forest.In the Tree Story app, our group has made casual progress. We have been playing the app for months now and we have helped to plant dozens of trees in different parts of Brazil and we hope to plant even more trees.

What I've done so far

Using an app called Tree Story, I've helped to plant several trees in Brazil. Our Instagram account that we made is dedicated to getting people to download and play Tree Story. So far, we've got 153 followers on  Instagram and we hope that they have downloaded the app. I plan to get that number up to 300 by the end of the school year by posting our progress in Tree Story. With all our work, we could get to this goal easily. Once we achieve this goal of 300 followers, we will work on a new way to try to get people to download the app.
